Sean Morton was born in Phoenix; and grew up around antiques, old master paintings and old English silver. Morton bought and sold at an early age.

He was a Visual Coordinator of Broadway Southwest Department Stores, a chain of 12 stores in Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas Albuquerque and Denver, in charge of cosmetics & women's apparel.

He joined C.G. Rein Galleries in Scottsdale and became Director of their Houston & Minneapolis galleries.
